fantastic central spot for exploring utila's best attractions
Staying here was great since it's in the heart of town and only a few steps from local bars and restaurants, making it easy to enjoy both daytime attractions and evening vibes. plus, the cafe across the street served the best coffee, which was a lovely touch during my stay.

the view was 'stunning' but earplugs were a necessity due to the blaring music, very relaxing, indeed! breakfast? i woudl ve been thrilled with a room upgrade, but clearly that idea was not on anyone's agenda. i almost thought to leave a good review, but who am i kidding! ?

A lovely spot with comfy rooms and a stunning waterfront view. The private porch with a hammock was paradise! And I never ran out of ice for my drinks, which is a miracle.
Plus, I could really use a fridge in the room to keep my leftovers yummy.

Utila Lodge exceeded my expectations with its welcoming atmosphere and genuine staff. The highlight of my stay was enjoying delicious family-style meals daily, particularly the breakfast bagels paired with iced dirty chai. The staff's attentiveness made me feel right at home.

a lovely stay, but some room for improvement
The room was spacious with beautiful wood floors, making it very comfortable for our three-night stay. The big bathroom featured an excellent shower with great pressure and hot water. We enjoyed having breakfast every morning on the patio overlooking the water. the sea view added a serene touch to our meals.
While the overall experience was positive, the presence of a somewhat arrogant salesman at the dive shop left a negative impression.
